Externe wijsheid

Bij schaarste en komkommertijd is het raadzaam om externe wijsheid te vergaren. Vanuit de krochten van het internet (alhier) dook ik de volgende tegeltjes wijsheden op (engels, het zij zo...). Doe er je voordeel mee.
Abraham Lincoln:
The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew.

Andy Warhol:
They say that time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.

Charles Kettering:
If you have always done it that way, it is probably wrong.

Georg C. Lichtenberg:
I cannot say whether things will get better if we change; what I can say is they must change if they are to get better.

Gloria Steinem:
The first problem for all of us, men and women, is not to learn, but to unlearn.

Henry David Thoreau:
Things do not change, we change.

James Yorke:
The most successful people are those who are good at plan B.

Leo Tolstoy:
Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.
